Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Mission HUD software and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

Mission HUD provides desktop software for AI-assisted software development. The software runs locally on your machine and connects to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) using API keys that you provide.

3. Accounts and API Keys

Mission HUD uses a Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK) model. You are responsible for obtaining and managing your own API keys from third-party providers. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your API keys beyond what is necessary for local software operation on your machine.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your license key and API credentials.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until renewal.

5. Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using premium features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
• Share, transfer, or sublicense your license key to others.
• Use the Services to develop competing products.
• Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits.

7. Intellectual Property

Mission HUD and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mission HUD and are protected by intellectual property laws. Code you create using our tools remains entirely yours.

8. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Mission HUD runs locally on your machine. We do not access, collect, or store your source code, project files, or AI conversation content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mission HUD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Services.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
